My husband and I had the most wonderful experience with Zara throughout our 1-1 hypnobirthing course! Having previously attended Zara’s pregnancy yoga classes, I knew that she would make us feel completely at ease. Her calm and soothing presence really helped me relax and open up to the process (and even helped our dogs, who hate people in the house, stay peaceful!). She took the time to understand exactly what we needed from the course and how we felt about birth - and tailored each session to help me build confidence in my body’s ability to give birth.

What really stood out was just how much Zara ensured the course suited our specific needs - she got to know my partner and I, and listened to our concerns in order to understand what we were hoping to get out of the hypnobirthing experience. Each session felt personal and focused, which helped us feel like we were truly being supported on our journey, rather than just following a generic curriculum or being fed information.

The course itself was comprehensive but not overwhelming. Zara guided us through a series of powerful breathing techniques, deep relaxation exercises, and visualisations that helped me tap into my body’s natural ability to manage pain and stress. The more I practiced these techniques, the more confident and calm I felt about the birth process. It was empowering to know I had the tools to manage both the physical and emotional aspects of labor.

In addition to these practical skills, Zara’s emotional support was invaluable. She created a space where I felt completely safe to ask questions, voice any worries, and explore what I wanted from my birthing experience. She was always available for extra guidance when I needed it, and her words of encouragement helped me build a strong sense of trust in myself and my partners role as birth partner.

By the time labour arrived, I felt ready—physically, mentally, and emotionally. I knew how to stay calm, breathe through contractions, and stay focused on the positive affirmations Zara had taught. The tools I learned in her course were not just useful for birth, but they’ve continued to be incredibly beneficial for other stressful situations as well - and life with a newborn brings plenty!

I truly believe Zara’s guidance made all the difference to both my pregnancy and birth experience. She provided not only the skills but also the emotional reassurance that I could get through my pregnancy and approach labor with confidence in both mind and body.
